Who are your clients? Who do you work with best?

Over the years I've worked with thousands of people of all ages and stages of personal, professional and business development. Down below you will find some long lists of the professionals and the companies I have worked with over the years. What these professionals and business owners all have in common are two things:

• They are experiencing a dissatisfaction in their current career, profession or in their small business growth. They're seeking to be more effective in their work and personal life. They want to do something about it and know they will succeed and get the results they want more quickly and efficiently if they work with an expert.

Even more importantly,

• Deep inside they have a desire to live a bigger, fuller, richer life. They have expertise and gifts to share and they want to express this through their work life. They want their work to not only be satisfying and pay the bills, but they also want it to be meaningful. They want to contribute in a BIG way. Though they may not always feel it in the moment—because passionate, heart-centered professionals and creative entrepreneurial spirits experience self-doubts too—they are a highly-motivated, conscious and courageous bunch!

My clients are passionate, heart-centered entrepreneurial spirits who are highly motivated to create the life and business they dream of.

Sometimes they come to me knowing exactly what they want to accomplish are are ready to grow or leverage their business.

Sometimes all they are sure of is they want something more, and they have a history of expertise and work that is no longer satisfying. They may work for a company or be their own boss. They may feel "stuck" in their current job or overwhelmed in growing their business. They often feel slightly out of sync with those around them because they are such entrepreneurial spirits (even in a company) or they think outside the box. Sometimes they feel like late-bloomers or wonder if there is more to life. They wonder if it is possible.

What my clients all have in common is a deep spiritual sense of purpose and desire to serve others through their work. They want to live a Big life. They have expertise connected to their values and a burning need to share. They are Conscious, Creative and Courageous—willing to get coaching to focus on their vision, fill in the system/strategy gaps and overcome mindset stumbling blocks on the way to achieving their goals.

Coaching at this level is an investment in yourself and your vision. It is also a time, energy and financial commitment. Many of my clients are entrepreneurs, solopreneurs or private practitioners. However, many of my clients also work in companies and even large corporations.

These people may be sorting out if they stay or go. Some of them want to start their own business and some want to grow in leadership or within their company. If their current company is a good match we grow their leadership capabilities and help them find the right position elsewhere. They often lead a team or run a business within the larger business, bringing their entrepreneurial spirit and expressing their creativity through the organization.

Dr. Jan Hoistad has 30+ years’ experience as a career coach, educator and mentor for individuals and couples (in both business collaborations, partnerships and personal partnership and teams). A seasoned veteran of personal and professional development as well as leadership training, business growth and organizational systems, Dr. Hoistad specializes in small business mentoring, individualized career planning and passion-driven entrepreneurial coaching.

She is much more than just a business-savvy motivator with a PhD. Using a heart-centered, success driven Inside-Outside coaching approach, she assesses her clients’ work-life needs, uncovers their passions and partners with them to develop specific action steps to achieve both financial and emotional success, never compromising the ardor that drives her clients. She also applies her rich background of coaching couples and business partners/teams. An extremely experienced entrepreneur herself, Dr. Hoistad applies her ability to teach do-it-yourself systems, with kick-butt guidance and compassionate enlightenment in her coaching. She attended the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School and trained in Mediation through the Dispute Resolution Services Minnesota. She is a member of  the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals.

Dr. Hoistad was coaching long before coaching became a recognized field and is a proud member of the International Association of Women Business Coaches. Along with creating numerous trademarked signature systems and success strategies, she has authored several published books, in addition to writing hundreds of articles, enewsletters and seminar programs. Dr. Hoistad lives in Minneapolis.
